The northern lands are a dense and luscious forest that blooms as in perpetual summer. The Seelie Court has laid claim to these trees and within them great sprawling metropolises lay nested within the very branches. Elves and fey have long since practiced the finer arts of magic- preferring to draw their magical powers from the very earth than from the lofty realms on high. While reverent to the gods of , the denizens of the forest kingdom don’t necessarily establish churches or cults to any one god in particular. Most venerate Cernunnos (God of the Hunt) or Druanna (Goddess of the Forest), but other forms of worship are not unheard of.
Elves make up a majority of the population of Ver’een. Accomplished in the skills of swordplay and magic, they are among the longest lived of the races of Fairden and many have taken on the mantle of historian.
Longer lived than their human parent, but shorter lived than their elf parent most half-elves feel like outcasts in other societies. In Ver’een they are viewed as cherished unions between the mortal races and the longer lived fey touched races and are free to explore their own path in life.

Rare are the gnomes who live outside of Brokkr, but yet their natural curiosity and ties to the strange fey realms have allowed them to create small yet prosperous communities in the forest kingdom. (Bound to the Land alternate racial trait)
